About Victoria
In December 2018, I will have a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Communications Arts and Sciences from Penn State. I am from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania which is where I still currently reside. I am determined, motivated and an excellent communicator.
I have always loved TV, radio and people; I find myself most at ease when I am engaged in a conversation with another person. I enjoy giving a voice to people and playing a part in telling their stories. I am comfortable working both in a team and individually.
I dedicate my time at Penn State to extra curricular activities that will help benefit my knowledge and experience in the broadcasting industry. I am an on-air radio DJ for WKPS-The Lion 90.7FM one to two times per week, secretary for the Bellisario College of Communications Student Council, an on-air host for 46LIVE which is a webcast that covers all of THON, Penn State's 46-hour Dance Marathon weekend and I am an On-Air Personality for WBHV-B94.5 All the Hits Radio Station every Saturday from 6-9pm. I have also recently joined PSN TV News where I work behind the scenes in different positions such as: audio board and teleprompter operator along with manning cameras during newscast. I am also a field reporter for PSN TV News which allows me to create packages and produce content for newscasts.
In addition, this past summer 2018 I was a Dayside News Intern at WTXF Fox29 Philadelphia. At WTXF, I worked alongside and shadowed different reporters, anchors, editors, producers and writers three times a week. This internship has greatly expanded my knowledge in the News field and has let me explore my true passion of telling peoples stories.
I am proud of all my accomplishments thus far and plan to create many more in my future.
